We prescribe emergency contraception, also known as the morning-after pill at our Urgent Care Center. The pill should be taken as soon as possible, but not later than 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected sexual intercourse or inadequate use of the contraceptive method. The prescription does not require an in-person consultation; it is written in the form of an e-prescription for our clients, following a telephone consultation with our physician.
You should do a pregnancy test and see your doctor in case your period is more than 7 days late after taking the pill, if your period bleed is unusually light or heavy, or if you experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, breast tenderness, vomiting or nausea.
Once the payment has been completed in the webshop, please call our Call Center at +36 1 465 3112 from Monday to Saturday between 07:00 and 19:30. Following the appointment scheduling, our on-duty doctor will contact you by phone. Immediately after the consultation, the E-prescription will be issued in the central online health system and can be redeemed at any pharmacy.
